My life in three questions (10B)

#29 My greatest fear is never being able to play sports ever again. I am scarred that the doctor is going to tell me that I have to stop playing sports because of my compartment syndrome and I know I will not be able to give that up. Sports have been such an important part of my life. Sports have made me who I am today and I am not ready to give that up yet. Being an athlete has made me the dedicated and self-motivated person I am today and my coaches and teammates are apart of a family that I will never forget about.

#26 when I work I love the result but I enjoy the process because knowing what I have over came and how hard I worked for the result feels even better knowing that I had to work for it and the feeling wouldn’t be the same if I didn’t have to go through a process and was just handed it to me. I feel better about myself knowing that I overcame a difficult task.. For example I feel better about my self being able to push myself and run three miles and not just the result of how in shape I will be.

#20 someone that really inspires me is my softball coach Frank and his wife Gina Lieneck. Frank and Gina have two daughters Danyelle and Brianna. The family took their boat out one afternoon in 2005 and was hit by another man driving his boat intoxicated. All of the family members except Danyelle were thrown into the water unconscious and Danyelle saved her mom and dad by pulling them out of the water and onto the boat. Unfortunately Brianna was hit straight on by the boat and was immediately dead. Brianna was a 12-year-old softball player who did not deserve for her life to end so early. Frank and Gina both inspire me so much because even though they don’t have a daughter who plays softball anymore they still coach a competitive softball team and run an indoor softball arena. It must be hard watching the girls on the field knowing that Brianna should be out their also but they do it because they love it and they know it would make Brianna happy. Our softball team dedicates every game to Brianna and even to this day as I am in college I play in memory of Brianna. This family does everything for everyone and they worked so hard to pass the law that states that driving a boat under any influence should be illegal the law was finally passed and they named it “Brianna’s law”.
