ENG 110 P
EXS 158 B-
HIS 110 A
INQ 101 B
MAT 107 F
MDS 101 C
My goal for the end of the semester
is to go up in a letter grade in every class. I wish to be able to get my math
grade to a c+ or better. I believe that I will be able to achieve this goal. I
am going to work even harder and longer on all my work. I will study harder for
tests and not settle for anything less then an A on all my projects. I believe
I will be able to get my math from an F to greater then a C+. I also believe
that I need to start doing better on these blogs. I need to start them earlier
and not do them all in one day. It is also a little difficult taking six
classes and not five so next semester I am going to take five so I have more
time to focus on my studies.
I have started going to the math
lab twice a week and now that I only have softball practice once a week I will
be able to go more if needed. I also spoke to my math professor and he told me
that he drops the lowest test grade at the end of the year. We have only taken
one test that I failed and that is the reason why I am failing my math class. This
class is a requirement for my major and the only math I need. If I pass this
math class I will not have to take a math class ever again which makes me want
to get a good grade not just the C+ I need to get the credits. Knowing that if
I do good in this math class knowing it would be my last math class that I will
ever have to take helps me stay self motivated.
I am proud
of myself for getting an A in my history class. History has always been one of
my weakest subjects since the 7th grade. In the 7th grade
I needed a tutor for history and have used the same tutor up until the 12th
grade. He is the reason why I passed history all these years. This is my first
year without his help and knowing that I have an A in history all on my own is
a great feeling. I was scarred that I wasn’t going to be able to do good
without his help. I was also scarred that being in a lecture hall was going to
be hard to concentrate. I have trouble concentrating with my ADD now in a
regular classroom so that’s why I thought I would have an even harder time in
the lecture hall. I hope to keep up the good work the rest of the semester in
this class.
