CrossFit Invasion: pain is temporary pride is forever (3B)

I have an older brother Brendan, he is 21 years old and I look up to him. We both are apart of a Crossfit gym on Long Island called Crossfit Invasion in Bellmore. My gym has a quote on the wall that says "don't stop when your tired, stop when your done".  I wake up in the morning looking forward to going to the gym with him. He is my motivation; he is very fit, very strong and very healthy. We both participate in Crossfit competitions for our gym. Whenever I am competing my brother is always they’re cheering me on and motivating me to never quit and to keep pushing myself. There are times were my body feels like jello and I feel like I can’t finish the meet or workout but Brendan is always there to motivate me to finish. My brother is my biggest motivator and I wouldn’t be who I was if it wasn’t for him. Now that I am away from my brother if I am ever doing something that I am struggling in I just think of him motivating me to never stop. The feeling after a Crossfit workout or meet is a feeling I can’t explain. After a meet or workout I can’t help but smile out of the feeling of accomplishment.
Knowing how hard I worked and seeing a positive result at the end makes me the happiest I could ever be. From my experience with working out at Crossfit it helps me motivate myself to get good grades in school. The result of working hard in the gym and seeing the positive results that make me so happy is the same as working and studying hard in school and getting good grades. When writing a paper or studying for a test I get bored and want to stop but I know the feeling of receiving the grades that I want will be a feeling that is relatable to finishing a Crossfit workout. I want to eventually become a Physical Therapist and I know that if I am working on a injured patient it may take time for them to eventually become fully healed but seeing them being healthy again will be an incredible feeling.
